Apple Strudel Bars

 Apple Strudel Bars

1 can crescent roll dough
1 small apple – pealed and sliced
2 to 4 teaspoons sugar
cinnamon

Separate crescent rolls. Place four apple slices, slightly layered, at the base of each triangle, facing toward the point. Sprinkle with ¼ to ½ teaspoon sugar, depending on tartness of the apple. Add a dash of cinnamon. Fold point up and over the top of the apple, securing in the back. Fold side flaps in front. Place bars on baking sheet that has been sprayed with cooking oil.
Bake at 350 for 18 minutes, or until golden brown. Drizzle with icing.

Icing
¾ c powdered sugar
2 teaspoons water
Mix together and drizzle onto strudel bars.
