Chicken Cordon Blue Pastry Puff


Chicken Cordon Bleu Pastry Puff

1 can crescent roll dough
2 small chicken breasts
6 slices of deli ham
2 squares Swiss cheese

Cut chicken into thin slices and fry. Spray a small baking sheet with cooking oil. Press two pieces of crescent roll dough together, forming a 5” by 7” rectangular shape. Sprinkle half of the chicken onto dough. Add 3 slices of deli ham. Break cheese square into four pieces and place on top of ham. Press two more pieces of crescent roll dough together to form top. Then place on top of puff and press the edges with a fork. Make four vent holes on top with a paring knife.
Bake at 350 degrees for 22 minutes or until slightly golden brown.
Makes two pastry puffs.
